Differences Between DMA Boards 35T and 75T

I personally recommend the 75T because it has more configurable resources, which may not be achievable for certain devices.

The differences between the DMA 35T and 75T boards are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

  1. Physical Size:
    • The DMA 35T is relatively smaller, while the DMA 75T is slightly larger. This size difference may affect the choice of design and installation in the frame, so it is essential to select the appropriate model based on actual space and usage requirements.
  2. Material:
    • The DMA 35T is made of carbon steel, and its chuck may use other materials such as cast iron or plastic. This material combination provides sufficient strength and durability while maintaining a certain degree of lightweightness.
    • The DMA 75T, on the other hand, is made from aerospace-grade nano-nylon composite material, which is molded as a whole. This material is lighter, stronger, more wear-resistant, and highly corrosion-resistant, making it suitable for harsher environments.
  3. Applicable Scenarios:
    • Both the DMA 35T and 75T utilize DMA technology to achieve direct data transmission without direct CPU control, thereby improving data transfer efficiency and overall system performance. This technology is suitable for high-speed and efficient data transfer scenarios, such as e-sports entertainment, data acquisition, and industrial automation.
  4. Other Possible Differences:
    • There may be differences in interface types, data transfer rates, and other specifications, which should be determined based on specific product datasheets.
    • In terms of pricing, due to differences in materials, size, and performance, the DMA 75T may be priced higher than the DMA 35T.

In summary, the DMA 35T and 75T boards have notable differences in physical size, materials, and potentially applicable scenarios. When choosing between them, it is crucial to consider actual usage requirements, budget constraints, and performance expectations. If more configuration options and better durability are needed, the 75T may be the more appropriate choice.
